Recent Advancements in Oncology

Join LSVA and well-known Veterinary Oncologist, Dr. Craig Clifford, this November as we review insights on mast cell tumors, lymphoma, and two new classes of cancer-fighting drugs! With these new advancements, general practitioners will be able to do more than ever to help dogs with cancer.

In this 1-hour CE session, we’ll learn about how you can do more for your cancer patients at the primary care level, including how novel treatment options, Tigilanol tiglate (Stelfonta®) and LAVERDIA™-CA1 (Verdinexor), may fit in at your practice. We’ll also review the latest techniques for staging and grading mast cell tumors and lymphoma—and share tips for collaborating with your local specialist on a treatment plan.

We will learn:

  • Techniques to diagnose, stage, and grade canine mast cell tumors and lymphoma
  • Mechanism of action, trial data, and adverse effects for Tigilanol tiglate and LAVERDIA-CA1
  • How LAVERDIA-CA1 and Tigilanol tiglate compare to other treatment options
  • Case Selection – where to incorporate (and where NOT to incorporate) Tigilanol tiglate and LAVERDIA-CA1

Top notch, fantastic. I was really dreading this because I dislike CE environments but really enjoyed.

I learned SO much about myself and feel empowered to make real changes in my life.

I felt it was very well organized and I felt taken care of. Julie was an excellent speaker and I enjoyed the content very much.

I couldn’t imagine the program running any smoother.

More dates! More events! Love these and I will be back! THANK YOU!

Excellent conference!!! Much more intimate than the large conferences.

I love that we wrote and expressed rather than just taking in material. This was interactive for real.

It was such a well thought out conference. Well done.
